The flow of viscoelastic fluids through porous media nowadays becomes important. Examples include petroleum flows, filtration and purification in chemical engineering, drug permeation in human skin and so on. The authors consider convective flow of viscoelastic (Walters B model) fluid through porous medium. Numerous effects are taken simultaneously into account: existence of magnetic fields, non-uniform temperature distribution, time-periodic variation of permeability and suction velocity. The governing equations are non-dimensionalized and asymptotic methods are used to solve them. The viscoelastic parameter \(Rc\) is treated as perturbation parameter and is supposed to be small. Numerous plots in the paper depict the influence of all the non-dimensional parameters on the behavior of the system. Then this information is briefly summarized in the short list of conclusions.
