The authors analyse the behaviour of Kantorovich type exponential sampling series. They study a point-wise approximation theorem and a Voronovskaya type theorem for these series. In addition, a representation formula and an inverse result of approximation are discussed. Examples of the kernel functions such as Mellin's B-splines and Mellin's Fejer kernel are considered, too.
