The concept of hyperbolic Pascal triangle [\textit{H. Belbachir} et al., ``Hyperbolic Pascal triangles'', Appl. Math. Comput. 273, 453--464 (2016; \url{doi:10.1016/j.amc.2015.10.001})] is one of generalizations of Pascal arithmetic triangle. It is based on hyperbolic regular mosaics (tilings) \(\{p, q\}\). The three-dimensional analogue of the classical Pascal triangle is the Pascal pyramid (or Pascal tetrahedron). In the paper under review the author introduces a new geometric object called hyperbolic Pascal pyramid, which is a natural generalization of the hyperbolic Pascal triangle and Pascal arithmetic pyramid. He defines a hyperbolic Pascal pyramid based on the hyperbolic regular cube mosaic (tiling) \(\{4, 3, 5\}\), which is one of four regular tilings with bounded tiles in the hyperbolic space. The author gives recurrence sequences (relations) for the numbers of vertices of different types on levels as well as for the sums of values of vertices.
