Optimal recovery for functions in multivariable ambient spaces is studied in this article. The main theorems give asymptotic estimates for the optimal recovery, and here the approximands are required to have certain absolutely continuous and a final (highest order) bounded derivative. For several special cases, results of Babenko and other are generalised, in more general contexts asymptotic results are obtained.
