    Let \(G\) be a finite group and \(cs(G)\) be the set of the sizes of conjugate classes of \(G\). The well-known conjecture of J. G. Thompson, which is Problem 12.38 in the Kourovka notebook (1992; Zbl 0831.20003), states the following: If \(S\) is a non-Abelian finite simple group and \(G\) is a finite group such that \(Z(G)=1\) and \(cs(G)=cs(S)\), then \(G\cong S\). In this article, the author proves Thompson's conjecture for the groups \(S\) isomorphic to \(\text{PSL}_n(q)\). He uses the previous results by \textit{A. Khosravi} and \textit{B. Khosravi} [Commun. Algebra 32, No. 6, 2325-2339 (2004; Zbl 1071.20018)] for prime \(n\), by \textit{B. Khosravi, B. Khosravi} and \textit{B. Khosravi} [Houston J. Math. 32, No. 3, 683-700 (2006; Zbl 1108.20010)] and \textit{M. R. Darafsheh} and \textit{A. Mahmiani} [Kumamoto J. Math. 20, 33-50 (2007; Zbl 1136.20009)] for the case that \(n-1\) is prime and \(q-1\) divides \(n\), by \textit{A. V. Vasil'ev} [Sib. Ehlektron. Mat. Izv. 6, 457-464 (2009)] for \(n=q=4\).
