The author unifies some notions of generalized convex functions, like \(s\)-convex, Godunova-Levin and \(P\)-functions, via the concept of \(h\)-convexity: given a nonnegative function \(f:I\to{\mathbb R},\) \(f\) is \(h\)-convex (i.e., is in the class \(SX(h,I)\)) if and only if it satisfies \[ f(\alpha x+(1-\alpha)y)\leq h(\alpha) f(x)+h(1-\alpha) f(y), \] where \(h\) is a nonnegative function defined on \(J,\) \(\alpha\in (0,1)\) and \(x,y\in I.\) He proves some results about the class \(SX(h,I)\) and the corresponding \(SV(h,I)\) of \(h\)-concave functions. In the second part of the paper, the author investigates the properties of functions \(h\)-convex (\(h\)--concave), when \(h\) is supermultiplicative or submultiplicative.
