Does any irreducible plane sextic curve (with simple singularities) admit a symmetry stable under equisingular deformation? Partial answers to this question was given by the author in [On irreducible sextics with non-abelian fundamental group, \url{arXiv:0711.3070}; Irreducible plane sextics with large fundamental groups, \url{arXiv:0712.2290}; A plane sextic with finite fundamental group, \url{arXiv:0711.3067}]. Here he gives an affirmative answer for any such a plane sextic curve. The method of the proof is quite involved and it is reduced to a combinatorial problem. The starting point is the previous investigation concerning the form of clases of singularities for plane sextic curve [loc. cit.]; then, via some properties of \(K3\)-surfaces, the question is formulated in the context of Dynkin diagrams.
