The author proves new upper and lower bounds for the ground energy of a 3D dilute Bose gas in the thermodynamic limit, under some hypotheses. The author considers a system of \(N\) interacting particles in a cubic box of volume \(\Lambda =L^{3}\). The corresponding Hamiltonian is \( H_{N}=\sum_{i}-\Delta _{i}+\sum_{i\leq j}v^{a}(x_{i}-x_{j})\), where \(\Delta \) is the Laplacian in \(\Lambda \) with periodic boundary conditions and \( v^{a}(x)=v(x/a)\), \(a>0\), the interaction potential \(v\) being spherically symmetric and having support in the ball \(B(0,R_{0})\) of \(\mathbb{R}^{3}\). The ground energy \(E(N,\Lambda )\) of \(H_{N}\) is taken when \(N\rightarrow \infty \) and \(\Lambda \rightarrow \infty \) with \(N/\Lambda =\rho \). Under two series of hypotheses, the author proves that \(\lim_{N\rightarrow \infty }E(N,\Lambda )/(4\pi a\rho N)\leq 1+Cte(a^{3}\rho )^{1/4}\) and \( \lim_{N\rightarrow \infty }E(N,\Lambda )/(4\pi a\rho N)\geq 1-Cte(a^{3}\rho )^{1/17}\). For the upper bound, the author builds an appropriate sequence of trial states. For the lower bound, the author mainly uses an approximation of the potential \(v^{a}\). These bounds are better than the previously obtained ones.
