The paper contains formal descriptions of some of the paradoxes of self- reference. The author analyses several attempts to resolve the paradoxes and shows them insufficient and unsatisfactory. His own paraconsistent/dialetheic solution consists in acknowledging the paradoxical sentences both as true and false.
