    A {\em cut-set} is defined to be a compact nowhere dense subset \(A\) of \(\mathbb{R}\) and a {\em cut-map} in a topological space \(X\) to be a continuous function \(A \rightarrow X\) on a cut-set. For a path \(\alpha \colon [a, b] \rightarrow X\) and cut-set \(A\) with \([\min(A), \max(A)]=[a, b]\), the restriction \(\alpha\vert_A \colon A \rightarrow X\) is a cut-map and the pair \((\alpha, A)\) is called a {\em factorization} of \(\alpha\). A {\em reduction} of a factorization \((\alpha, A)\) is a factorization \((\alpha, B)\) such that \(B\subseteq A\). Infinite products, indexed by countably infinite linear orders are called {\em transfinite} when the index orders are permitted to contain a dense suborder and are called {\em scattered} otherwise. In this paper, the author proves several technical results related to combining of factors of transfinite products in fundamental groupoids.
