Summary: The aim of this paper is to prove the existence of radially symmetric \(k\)-admissible solutions for the following Dirichlet problem associated with the \(k\)-th Hessian operator: \[ \begin{cases}\begin{rcases}S_k[u]=f(x,-u)\\ u< 0\end{rcases} & \text{in }B, \\ u=0 & \text{on }\partial B,\end{cases} \] where \(B\) is the unit ball of \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N=2k\) (\(k\in\mathbb{N})\), and \(f:\overline{B}\times\mathbb{R}\rightarrow\mathbb{R}\) behaves like \(\exp (u^{(N+2)/N})\) when \(u\rightarrow\infty\) and satisfies the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition. Our results constitute the exponential counterpart of the existence theorems of \textit{K. Tso} [Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Anal. Non Linéaire 7, No. 2, 113--122 (1990; Zbl 0715.35031) for power-type nonlinearities under the condition \(N > 2k\).
