This paper concerns a famous conjecture stated by \textit{C. Viterbo} [J. Am. Math. Soc. 13, No. 2, 411--431 (2000; Zbl 0964.53050)]: Conjecture. For a convex body \(X \subset \mathbb{R}^{2n}\) the following equality holds \[\mathrm{vol} (X) \geq \frac{1}{n!} C_{\mathrm{EHZ}} (X) ^n \] where \(C_{\mathrm{EHZ}} (X)\) is the Ekeland-Hofer-Zehnder capacity. The key point in the paper is to reformulate the problem in terms of a proper convex Hamiltonian function \(H : \mathbb{R}^{2n} \longrightarrow \mathbb{R}\) by comparing the volume of a domain \(X = \{H(p, q) \leq E\}\) with the smallest action of a closed Hamiltonian trajectory on the boundary \(\{H(p, q) = E\}\). The main result is to show the validity of Viterbo's conjecture for even 2-homogeneous Hamiltonians with standard kinetic energy of the form \[ T (p) = \frac{1}{2} \|p\|^2 \] among other particular cases.
