The authors construct a deformation \(\mathfrak{f}_\beta\) of the Lusztig algebra \(\mathbf{f}\). It is proved that \(\mathfrak{f}_\beta\) is isomorphic to \(\mathbf{f}\) up to a twist. Specializations of \(\mathfrak{f}_\beta\) provide several examples in the literature: the two parameter quantum algebras of \textit{Z. Fan} and \textit{Y. Li} [Int. Math. Res. Not. 2015, No. 16, 7016--7062 (2015; Zbl 1350.17012)], the quantum superalgebras of \textit{S. Clark} et al. [Transform. Groups 18, No. 4, 1019--1053 (2013; Zbl 1359.17023)], the multi-parameter quantum algebras of \textit{Y. Pei} et al. [Contemp. Math. 506, 145--171 (2010; Zbl 1267.17015)], the multi-parameter quantum superalgebras of \textit{S.-J. Kang} et al. [Adv. Math. 242, 116--162 (2013; Zbl 1304.17012)]. A Drinfeld double Hopf algebra is constructed for \(\mathfrak{f}_\beta\).
