From given values \(\int^\infty_0 e^{-p_jx} f(x)\,dx= \mu_j\) of a Laplace transform with real \(p_j\) the original function \(f\) is reconstructed approximately in a stable way by means of a regularization method. In the case of exact data finite sums of Laguerre polynomials are used for this reason, and in the case of non-exact data truncated Lagrange polynomials. Error estimates and numerical examples are given.
