The authors study Toeplitz operators on the Bergman space over the unit disk with so-called quasihomogeneous symbols, i.e., symbols of the form \(e^{ip\theta}\phi\), where \(\phi\) is a radial function. The main result of the paper states that, if \(p\) and \(s\) are integers such that \(ps \leq 0\), then the Toeplitz operators with symbols \(e^{ip\theta}\varphi\) and \(e^{is\theta}\psi\) commute only in certain trivial cases.
