A Krasner \((m,n)\)-hyperring \((R,f,g)\) is a generalization of the concept of ring in such a way that \((R,f)\) is a canonical \(m\)-ary hypergroup, \((R,g)\) is an \(n\)-ary semigroup and the operation \(g\) is distributive with respect of the hyperoperation \(f\). Classical results on quotient rings are generalized to such defined hyperrings.
