    The authors consider an impulsive differential equation of the second order with integral boundary value condititons \[ \begin{aligned} &u''(t) + p(t)u'(t) + q(t)u(t) + g(t)f(t,u(t)) = 0, \;t \in (0,1), \;t \neq \tau, \\ &\triangle u|_{t = \tau} = I(u(\tau)), \;\triangle u'|_{t = \tau} = N(u(\tau)), \;\tau \in (0,1),\\ & a_1u(0) - b_1u'(0) = \alpha(u), \;a_2u(1) + b_2u'(1) = \beta(u), \end{aligned} \] where \[ \alpha(u) = \int_0^1 u(s)\;\text{d}A(s),\;\beta(u) = \int_0^1 u(s)\;\text{d}B(s), \] and \(\tau\) is a fixed impulse instant. Using fixed point index theory, results for the existence of at least one and two positive solutions are obtained.
