\textit{M. Suzuki's} extension of the Trotter product formula [Commun. Math. Phys. 163, No. 3, 491-508 (1994; Zbl 0804.47045)] is proved under different hypotheses, namely the terms \(A_i\) of the exponent \(A= A_1+\cdots+ A_q\) in \(e^{xA}\) need not be bounded, but then additional conditions are assumed.
