A generalized Rayleigh flow is considered taking into account compressibility effects and heat conduction. The boundary surface is that of a dihedral corner with arbitrary angle. A series expansion with respect to a small temperature difference yields linear differential equations for velocity components. The temperature dependence for viscosity disappears. A separation of variables leads to differential equations with time as an independent variable. Finally, a similarity variable known from the original Rayleigh problem gives ordinary differential equations. The solutions are presented in form of the confluent hypergeometric functions. One can also obtain pressure, density and temperature distributions. Using an example with the Mach number equal to 0.1, the authors present velocity profiles and the temperature distribution.
