Der Autor beweist einen Satz über Überdeckungen des n-Simplexes mit Paaren von disjunkten Mengen, der das klassische Ergebnis von Knaster, Kuratowski und Mazurkiewicz und dessen Erweiterungen von \textit{Ky Fan} [Math. Scand. 22, 17-20 (1968; Zbl 0172.488) und J. Math. Anal. Appl. 31, 68-80 (1970; Zbl 0201.250)] verallgemeinert. Dazu braucht er einen topologische Satz über Abbildungen des n-Simplexes (in natürlicher Einbettung im \(R^{n+1})\) in \(R^{n+1}-\{0\}\).
