A link between two elliptic quantum groups

Abstract: We construct a fully faithful functor from the category C_F of finite-dimensional representations of Felder's (dynamical) elliptic quantum group E_{tau,gamma}(gl(n)) to a cretain category D_B of (infinite-dimensional) representations of Belavin's quantum elliptic algebra B by difference operators, and a fully faithful functor from the category C_B of finite-dimensional representations of B to D_B. As a corollary, we show that the abelian subcategories of C_B and C_F generated by tensor products of vector representations are equivalent.

By \({\mathcal C}_B\) the authors denote the category of meromorphic finite dimensional representations of the quantum elliptic algebra constructed by Belavin's \(R\)-matrix. The objects are pairs \((V,L(z))\) consisting of a finite dimensional vector space \(V\) and an invertible meromorphic function \(L(z)\in\text{End}(\mathbb{C}^n)\otimes\text{End}(V)\) satisfying a quantum Yang-Baxter equation, while the morphisms are linear maps \(\varphi\) of the vector spaces such that \(1\otimes\varphi\) intertwines the meromorphic functions. The category \({\mathcal D}_B\) is a difference operator variant of the category \({\mathcal C}_B\) and a right module category over \({\mathcal C}_B\). \({\mathcal C}_F\) denotes the category of meromorphic finite dimensional representations introduced by Felder for the elliptic quantum group \({\mathcal E}_{\tau, \gamma/2}({\mathfrak gl}_n (\mathbb{C}))\). [Compare \textit{G. Felder}, Elliptic quantum groups, preprint hep-th/9412207.] Defining families of fully faithful functors from \({\mathcal C}_B\) to \({\mathcal D}_B\) and \({\mathcal C}_F\) to \({\mathcal D}_B\) the authors construct an equivalence between the abelian subcategories of \({\mathcal C}_B\) and \({\mathcal C}_F\) generated by tensor products of vector representations, respectively.
