A min-max theorem for sums of translates of a function
From MaRDI portal
This note concerns the best choice of a partition of the interval [0,1]. Such a partition minimizes a certain max function. The author solves this very special min-max problem. As an application, he considers the configuration of zeros for a polynomial with real coefficients.
