A separation in modulus property of the zeros of a partial theta function
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: We consider the partial theta function , where is a variable and , , is a parameter. Set . We show that, for , for and for there exists a unique zero of satisfying the inequalities ; all these zeros are simple ones. The moduli of the remaining zeros are . A {em spectral value} of is a value for which has a multiple zero. We prove the existence of the spectral values for which has double zeros .
