Abstract: We consider the partial theta function heta(q,x):=sumj=0inftyqj(j+1)/2xj, where xinmathbbC is a variable and qinmathbbC, 0<|q|<1, is a parameter. We show that, for any fixed q, if zeta is a multiple zero of the function heta(q,.), then |zeta|leq811.
