A theorem on potentials of isotropic symmetric second-order tensor functions

In this paper we propose and prove the following theorem: If the second- order tensor H is an isotropic function of a symmetric second-order tensor T, and there exists a potential function for H, then there will certainly exist a potential function for T, too.
