Abstract: Let be the set of couples with such that has at least one representation of the form with integer coefficients satisfying , . In this case we say that is an expansion of in base . Let be the set of couples such that has exactly one expansion in base . In this paper we deduce some topological and combinatorial properties of the set . We characterize the closure of , and we determine its Hausdorff dimension. For , we also prove new properties of the lexicographically largest expansion of in base .
