Absolute ideals of almost completely decomposable abelian groups
From MaRDI portal
A subgroup of an abelian group \(G\) is an \textit{absolute ideal of \(G\)} if it is an ideal in every ring on \(G\) and the \textit{principal absolute ideal} generated by \(g\in G\) is the smallest absolute ideal of the group \(G\) containing \(g\). In this paper, the authors describe the principal absolute ideals of reduced block-rigid \(CRQ\)-groups of ring type. They show that every absolute ideal of such a group \(G\) is a fully invariant subgroup of \(G\).
