Abstract Volterra difference inclusions
The author studies the existence and uniqueness of asymptotically almost periodic (automorphic) solutions to the following abstract Volterra difference equation (and some variants thereof)\N\[\Nu(v) \in f(v) + \mathcal A\left (\sum_{j=0}^v a(v-j)u(j) \right), \quad v\in \mathbb N_0,\N\]\Nwhere \(\mathcal A\) is a multivalued linear operator in the Banach space \(X\), i.e., \(\mathcal A:X\to P(X)\) such that \(\mathcal D(\mathcal A)= \{x\in X\,:\, \mathcal Ax\neq \emptyset\}\) is a linear subspace of \(X\), and \(\mathcal A x+ \mathcal A y\subseteq \mathcal A(x+y)\) and \(\lambda \mathcal Ax \subseteq \mathcal A(\lambda x)\) for all \(x,y\in \mathcal D(\mathcal A)\) and \(\lambda \in \mathbb C\).\N\NAn important notion that is studied and used as an assumption in this work is that \(\mathcal A\) is a closed subgenerator of a discrete \((a, k)\)-regularized \(C\)-resolvent family \((S(v))_{v\in \mathbb N_0}\), that is \(\mathcal A\) is a closed multivalued operator, \(C\in L(X)\) is injective, \(\mathcal A C\subseteq C\mathcal A\) and \((S(v))_{v\in \mathbb N_0} \subset L(X)\) such that:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item \(\mathcal AS(v) \subseteq S(v)\mathcal A\) and \(C S(v) = S(v)C\) for all \(v\in \mathbb N_0\);\N\item \(S(v)x= k(v)Cx +\sum_{j=0}^v a(v-j)S(j)y\) for all \(v\in\mathbb N_0\) and \(y\in \mathcal Ax\).\N\end{itemize}
