Abstract degenerate difference equations

From MaRDI portal

The author considers classes of abstract degenerate difference equations and proves the existence of almost periodic type solutions in the paper under review. The paper has three sections. The first one is the introduction. In Section 2, abstract difference equations in the form \N\[\NA u_{k+1}+ B u_k = f_k , \qquad k\in \mathbb{Z}, \tag{1}\N\]\Nare studied. The existence of a \(T\)-almost periodic or \(R\)-almost automorphic solution of Eq. (1) is guaranteed by Theorem 2.1, which is the main result of Section 2. Section 3 contains a corollary of Theorem 2.1 about equations in the form \N\[\NA_{j,1}u_k + \left(A_{j,2} + B_{j,1} \right) u_{k+1} + \cdots + \left(A_{j,p} + B_{j,p-1} \right) u_{k+ p-1} + B_{j,p} u_{k+p} = f^j_k,\N\]\Nwhere \( k\in \mathbb{Z}\), \( 1 \le j \le p \), \(p \ge 2\), and two results concerning the existence of a solution for \N\[\NA_{p}u_{k+p} + A_{p-1}u_{k+p-1} + \cdots + A_{1} u_{k+1} + A_{0} u_{k} = f_k , \qquad k\in \mathbb{Z}, \, p \ge 2.\N\]\NThe paper also contains relevant remarks and examples.
