Abstract: We prove that for every abelian group G and every compactum X with $di{m}_{G}Xleqngeq2$ there is a G-acyclic resolution $r:ZloX$ from a compactum Z with $di{m}_{G}Zleqn$ and $dimZleqn+1$ onto X.
