An example of higher-dimensional Heegaard Floer homology
\textit{H. R. Morton} and \textit{P. Samuelson} [Commun. Math. Phys. 385, No. 3, 1655--1693 (2021; Zbl 1478.57009)] showed that the braid skein algebra \(\mathrm{BSK}_{k}\left( \Sigma\right) \) of \(\Sigma\)\ is isomorphic to the double affine Hecke algebra associated to \(\mathfrak{gl}_{k}\)\ when \(\Sigma \)\ is a torus. Based on this result, \textit{K. Honda} et al. [``Higher-dimensional Heegaard Floer homology and Hecke algebras, Preprint, \url{arXiv:2202.05593}] established the isomorphisms between\N\[\N\mathrm{HW}^{\ast}\left( \bigsqcup\nolimits_{i}T_{q_{i}}^{\ast}\Sigma\right)\N\]\Nand various Hecke algebras of type A for \(\Sigma\)\ being a disk, a cylinder or a torus.\N\NThis paper focuses on the disk \(D^{2}\). The algebra\N\[\N\mathrm{HW}^{\ast}\left( \bigsqcup\nolimits_{i}T_{q_{i}}^{\ast}D^{2}\right)\N\]\Nis isomorphic to the finite Hecke algebra associated to the symmetric group \(S_{k}\)\ over \(\mathbb{Z}\left[ \left[ \hbar\right] \right] \) [Honda et al., loc. cit.]. The authors show that\N\[\N\mathrm{HW}^{\ast}\left( \bigsqcup\nolimits_{i}T_{q_{i}}^{\ast}D^{2}\right)\N\]\Ncan be defined over \(\mathbb{Z}\left[ \hbar\right] \), and the isomorphism to the finite Hecke algebra still holds, which gives a Floer-theoretic explanation of the standard basis of the Hecke algebra \(H_{k}\).
