An initial-boundary value problem for a system of equations of magnetohydrodynamics

An initial-boundary value problem is considered for magnetohydrodynamic equations allowing for displacement currents. The method of successive approximations is applied to prove a local existence theorem in Sobolev spaces. To this end, the author studies the linearized Maxwell equations.
