An isodiametric problem of fractal dimension
From MaRDI portal
The authors estimate the Hausdorff measure of portions of the set \(F_{\lambda}=E_{\lambda}\times{\mathbb R}\), where \(E_{\lambda}\) is the attractor of the iterated function system \(\{x\mapsto \lambda x, \quad x\mapsto 1-\lambda +\lambda x\}\), \(0<\lambda<0.5\), on \({\mathbb R}\).
