An overview of wavelet analysis and time-frequency analysis

The paper is a survey on some aspects of wavelet analysis and time-frequency analysis, with emphasis on the related transforms. The continuous Gabor transform and wavelet transform are introduced, and the associated decompositions of \(L^2(R)\) are stated.
