Anomalous diffusion in random flows

From MaRDI portal

For random turbulent flows, the author investigates the asymptotic scaling law of energy integral using a variational method and its dual, and calculates explicitly the corresponding scaling exponent. The results are applied to three-dimensional flows with discrete symmetry formed by a superposition of random channel flows, and to their two-dimensional analog (Manhattan model). For the entire collection see [Zbl 0893.00045].
