Approximate construction of solutions in game-theoretic control problems

From MaRDI portal

The authors treat a conflict-control system whose behaviour on time-interval \([t_0,\theta]\), \(t_0 < \theta < \infty\), is described by the equation \[ \dfrac{dx}{dt} = f(t,x,u,v), \qquad x[t_0] = x_0,\qquad u\in P,\quad v\in Q,\tag{1} \] \(x\in\mathbb R^m\), \(P\subset \mathbb R^p\), \(Q\subset \mathbb R^q\), respectively. An algorithm is proposed for approximate construction of a set of positional absorption. As an example set of positional absorption is calculated in the problem of pendulum control which is moving in a viscous medium.
