Approximate determination of polynomial roots
From MaRDI portal
An optimal fourth-order family of methods which is free from second-order derivatives is developed. A parametric rational operator associated to the optimal fourth-order family with four parameters for polynomials with double and triple roots is analyzed. Results with visualizations of many numerical applications of the theorems are presented.
