Approximation-solvability of Hammerstein equations
From MaRDI portal
The author investigates the Hammerstein operator equation \(x-KFx=f\), where \(K\) is a linear and \(F\) is a nonlinear map. He studies this equation using the (pseudo) \(A\)-proper mapping approach and Brouwer degree theory. The obtained results are applied to the Hammerstein integral equation.
