Argument Estimates for a Certain Class of Analytic Functions
The authors study various argument properties of two subclasses \(S^*[A,B]\) and \(K[A,B]\) of the class of normalized analytic functions in the open unit disk \(U\). The class \(S^*[A,B]\) was studied earlier by \textit{W. Janowski} [Bull. Acad. Polon. Sci., Sér. Sci. Math. Phys. Astron. 21, 17-25 (1973; Zbl 0252.30021)] and (more recently) by \textit{H. Silverman} and \textit{E. M. Silvia} [Can J. Math. 37, 48-61 (1985; Zbl 0574.30015)]. Indeed, for \(A= 1-2\alpha\) and \(B=-1\), these classes reduce, respectively, to the familiar classes of starlike and convex functions of order \(\alpha\) in \(U\). Some integral-preserving properties in a sector are also considered for the general classes \(S^*[A,B]\) and \(K[A,B]\).
