Arithmetic properties of the Ramanujan function

From MaRDI portal

Abstract: We study some arithmetic properties of the Ramanujan function au(n), such as the largest prime divisor P(au(n)) and the number of distinct prime divisors omega(au(n)) of au(n) for various sequences of n. In particular, we show that hbox{P(au(n))geq(logn)33/31+o(1)} for infinitely many n, and egin{equation*} P( au(p) au(p^2) au(p^3)) > (1+o(1))frac{loglog plogloglog p} {loglogloglog p} end{equation*} for every prime p with hbox{au(p)eq0}.
