Between SMPC-functions and submaximal spaces
From MaRDI portal
The author defines a function \(f:X\to Y\) to be strongly \(M\)-precontinuous, briefly SMPC, if the inverse image of each preopen set is open. The notion is investigated and used to provide characterizations of submaximal spaces, i.e. spaces in which every dense set is open. In the last chapter of this paper several results on submaximal spaces are presented. Many of these results, however, are already well known.
