Boundary value problems for a differential equation with a singularity

The author announces six theorems for an eigenvalue problem for a \(2m\)th-order ordinary differential equation on a finite interval with a singularity at one boundary. These include completeness, expansion and equiconvergence theorems for eigenfunctions and associated functions, and a uniqueness result for an inverse problem involving the Weyl matrix.
