Broad energy range libration orbit computations using isolating neighborhoods
The article gives an overview over improved computational results concerning the behavior of trajectories near the \(L_1\) and \(L_2\) Lagrange (libration) points in the circular restricted three-body problem. The main feature is the introduction of so called isolating neighborhoods instead of the isolating blocks used previously. This different approach allows for more robust results and can be applied to a broader energy range. The method is explained and its benefits as compared to the use of the previous one are discussed.
