Canonical modules of certain edge subrings

The authors establish a method to compute the canonical module of the edge subring associated to a simple connected bipartite graph using linear programming. Using the complete graph \(K_3\) as a counterexample, it is demonstrated that this method cannot be applied to graphs which are not bipartite.
