Categories of nonlinear dynamic models
The paper discusses practical model requirements for nonlinear model predictive control together with some of the advantages and practical limitations of empirical model identification. The basic aim of this work is to propose category theory as a systematic basis for considering both the empirical modelling problem and the question of behavioural constraints. Use of category theory has the advantage that it forces the consideration of models and input sequences together and second, that it provides a simple framework for examining the behavioural differences between model classes.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0961.00036].
