Certain classes of meromorphically multivalent functions

From MaRDI portal

This paper considers the class of functions \(\Sigma_{n,p}(\alpha)\) of the form \(f(z) = z^{-p} + \sum_{k=1}^\infty a_{k-1} z^{k-p}\) which are analytic in the unit disc except for the pole at \(z = 0\) and which satisfy NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\text{Re}[z^{p+1}(D^{n+p-1} f(z))']< -\alphaNEWLINE\]NEWLINE in the unit disc. Here, \(D\) is the usual Ruscheweyh derivative for such a class. Using the Miller-Mocanu lemma, the author proves that \(\Sigma_{n+1,p}(\alpha) \subset \Sigma_{n,p}(\beta)\) where \(\beta = (p+2\alpha(n+p))/(1+2(n+p))\). From this it follows that \(\Sigma_{n+1,p}(\alpha) \subset \Sigma_{n,p}(\alpha)\) An integral transform of such functions is also considered.
