Change of correctness under equivalent transformations of mathematical models
The following recently discovered phenomenon is considered: correctness of a mathematical model can be changed under equivalent transformations. Earlier it was asserted that correctly and incorrectly posed problems are strictly separated. NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThe article is based on a lecture given by the author for secondary school teachers in the framework of the ``International Soros Science Educational Program and is aimed at presenting contemporary developments in mathematics at an elementary level understandable for secondary school teachers and pupils.
