Classification of solution operators semigroups for abstract Cauchy problems
The paper discusses the relationship among \(C_0\)-semigroups, Cesàro-summable and Abel-summable semigroups, \(C_k\) and \(\mathfrak{C}_k\) semigroups, semigroups of growth \(\alpha\), integrated semigroups, \(R\)-semigroups, and convoluted semigroups. Particular attention is paid to giving examples to show some strictness for some embeddings. For more information on integrated semigroups and \(R\)-semigroups (that is, \(C\)-semigroups or \(C\)-regularized semigroups), we refer the reader to the monographs [\textit{R. deLaubenfels}, Existence families, functional calculi and evolution equations.
