Composition operators and pull-back measure formula

From MaRDI portal

Let \(U^n\) be the open polydisk in \(\mathbb{C}^n\). Let \(f\) be in the Nevanlinna class of \(U^n\), \(d\beta_f\) its boundary measure and \(\phi\) a proper holomorphic self-map of \(U^n\). Then \(d\beta_{f\circ\phi}\phi^{-1}(w)= P(\phi(0), w) d\beta_f(w)\). Here \(P\) denotes the Poisson kernel for \(U^n\). The formula is used to characterize, for a polydisk automorphism \(\phi\), the zero-free functions \(f\) in the Nevanlinna class which solve Schröder's equation \(f\circ\phi= \lambda\cdot f\), \(\lambda\) a constant.
