Computational methods in random surface simulation

From MaRDI portal

The authors explain how the simulation described by \textit{T. L. Einstein} and \textit{A. L. Stella} [ibid. 159-173 (1998) see the review Zbl 0941.82032 below] was implemented in order to insure both correctness and efficiency. The physics is explained in that paper and the work on the entire project can be found in [\textit{A. L. Stella}, \textit{E. Orlandini}, \textit{I. Beichl}, \textit{F. Sullivan}, \textit{M. C. Tesi}, and \textit{T. L. Einstein}, Self avoiding surfaces, topology and lattice animals, Phys. Rev. Lett. 69, 3650 (1992)]. In this article they explain the mathematics behind the computational datastructures. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0896.00020].
